This bourbon is made in Louisville, Kentucky, from a base of premium, non-GMO American corn. The distillate is casked at 51.5% alcohol by volume instead of the more usual 62.5% in order to obtain more sweetness and richness in the mouth. New American white oak barrels heavily toasted are used for its maturation. After a minimum of 2 years of ageing, a maximum of 24 barrels are selected to create this small batch which is chill-filtered without the use of charcoal for bottling in order to highlight the quality of this bourbon.
Tasting notes of the distillery: Rich caramel with balanced vanilla, stone fruit notes, smoky depth, with an oak finish.
